AGM 2023

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Olivers mill took place in November.  Thank you to those residents who attended and/or contributed.  The minutes of the AGM will be shared with all residents ahead of the AGM 2024 (date yet to be determined).

At the AGM it was agreed that reluctantly, we need to increase residents' fees to reflect some of the increased costs of maintaining the neighbourhood.  A 5% increase was agreed and this will be effectively from April 1st 2024.

Please ensure that you amend your standing order in plenty of time.  If you currently pay by cheque but would prefer to switch over to standing order, please use the contact form on this website to send us a brief email and we will reply with the information you need.

Workforce

Work has begun to remedy the damaged property at the mouth of Olivers Mill. During this time, it is probable that there will be more than one workforce vehicle parked close by.

With the added complication of the unusual parking on the road at this junction, it is likely to increase the difficulty and potential danger for drivers entering and leaving Olivers Mill, as well as the ongoing problems that pedestrians are having remaining safe when crossing.

Please do try to be patient and keep an extra eye out for other drivers, particularly as you leave Olivers Mill, having to drive on the wrong side of the road to do so.  Thank you.

February 10th 2021

The weekly refuse collection this week has been cancelled by Sevenoaks District Council because of the icy road conditions. The instructions from the council are for residents to bring their rubbish back onto their property and put it out again next week. The next refuse collection for Olivers Mill shall be Wednesday February 17th.

Thank you to all our residents for complying with the council's request. By bringing our rubbish back in, we will prevent any interest from wildlife and vermin and any related health and safety concerns.
